Japanese Economic Development
Japanese economic development, 2 op, VALA310 / VALS310 / CIS / HISA007
Lectures on Japanese economic history with comparisons to other Asian countries, Europe, and the world. The goal is to get an understanding of Japan as a model and central economic actor in the Asian and global contexts, and at the same time to show that Asian countries are not unique in their solutions to the various problems that economic, political and social changes pose to development.
