M.Sc. Daniel Söderström defends his doctoral dissertation ”Radiation effects on SDRAMs and optical-fiber based dosimetry of high-energy electrons”. In this thesis work it is shown that high-energy electrons can individually cause errors in computer memories of the type synchronous dynamic random access memories (SDRAM), and that high-energy electron beams can be efficiently monitored by optical fiber-based dosimetry systems.
